TRIVET

All wood trivet.  This one has a 4 inch square opening and was designed especially for the Scrap Thread Star Ornament Series (see less than full skein inspired designs).  It is shown here with ST-SO-4 (the Pinwheel inspired design).

The trivet is available with either a glass front or a clear plastic front.  It comes in natural, cherry, oak, or walnut stain finishes.  The one shown here is natural stain.  The glass front would allow for hot or cold items to be set on it.  The plastic would not.

You can select to stitch just a canvas for the front (as shown in the second picture), the front and the back, etc., as you like.  To see our designs for the magazine rack, look in the icon to the left that reads:  "Small Designs, Sold Separately or as Inserts for Book Rack, Magazine Rack, Purses, etc.".

BOOK RACK

Solid wood book rack with 2 cut out for canvas inserts.  The canvas design sizes are 7 inches wide by 7-1/2 inches high.  There is a backing (not shown) sent with the book rack to hold your canvases in place.

Your choice of wood:  maple, birch or red oak.  You can buy the book rack without any canvas inserts or with 2 canvas inserts.  For designs, go to the icon on the left that reads:  "Small Designs, Sold Separately or as Inserts for Book Rack, Magazine Rack, Purses, etc".

Stretcher Bars

Solid Wood Stretcher Bars which can be used again and again.  These stretcher bars have been rounded so that they are comfortable for your hand to hold.  The rounded edge also helps prevent delicate threads from snagging.

The stretcher bar frame is made up of one horizontal pair of bars and one vertical pair of bars with a tendon joint that slips together for a snug joint.
